It is the new opening of X-LITE that confirms and enriches the already appreciated technical characteristics of the predecessor X-1003.
Low volume (thanks to the availability of three outer shell sizes), double P / J homologation, VPS sunscreen, effective TVS (Touring Ventilation System) ventilation system, exclusive chin guard opening system with double action mechanism, retention system with Microlock2 double lever micrometric adjustment, Uniterm2 Touring Performance internal comfort padding (with innovative mesh construction) and provision for the N-Com X-Series communication system want to make X-1004 one of the reference openings for the most demanding.
Features of the X-LITE X-1004 N-Com Helmet:
P / J approval: The helmet can be used both with open chin guard (configuration J) and with closed chin guard (configuration P), as the protective chin guard passes the homologation tests required by the UN / ECE standard for full-face helmets.
Pinlock Fog Resistant Inner Visor: Supplied and with silicone profile (Full Silicone Border). The exclusive patented adjustment system adopted by Nolangroup allows you to adjust the draft of the visor (Pinlock®), acting from the outside of the visor and without having to disassemble the visor itself.
Double Action: Device that allows the visor lock function (to prevent accidental opening at high speeds) or demisting of the visor at low speed or in the event of a stop (by opening it at least)
Sunscreen (Vps) with UV 400 Protection: Positioned inside the helmet, it is molded in Lexan and provides S / R (Scratch Resistant - scratch resistant) and F / R (Fog Resistant - resistant to fogging) treatment. It offers UV protection up to 400 nanometers and can be easily disassembled when not needed or for maintenance and cleaning.
Dual Action (Patented): Exclusive patented chin guard opening system which, positioned in the center of the chin guard, allows it to be opened with just one hand. The double action mechanism reduces the risk of accidental opening: only after having operated the first release lever (or safe) is it possible to lift the chin guard by acting on the second lever.
Fit: Compared to its predecessor (model X-1003), X-1004 has been improved in terms of habitability in the chin area: the chin guard has been slightly elongated, in order to offer greater ease, therefore maximum static and dynamic comfort. At the same time, the product maintains a compact design, even with an open chin guard.
Microlock (Patented): Double lever retention system with micrometric adjustment. This system is composed of an ergonomic opening lever in thermoplastic material and a second, toothed and sealing, in aluminum. The toothed lever releases the micrometric strap and it is therefore possible to open the chin strap only after the opening lever has made a very wide rotation. This precaution reduces the possibility of involuntary opening.
Cap with Innovative Mesh Construction: Facilitates the diffusion of air in the upper part of the head which, in this way, remains cool and dry.
Monobloc cheek pads: They ensure homogeneous pressure on the face, constant over time.
Integrated Chin Straps In The Cheek Pads: Removable and washable, they favor the fit of the helmet as well as its wearability.
Goggle Housing: Exclusive system designed for the comfort of eyeglass wearers. Quickly and easily, it allows you to create a space in the pillow for the temples of the glasses. It is reversible, as it is possible to return the cheek pads to their initial configuration.
